Voices4Veterans:
Veterans returning home from their respective tours of duty, whether they had just one or a multitude of tours, their families, along with the families of those men and women who have died since the start of combat operations in Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003), are now facing a barrage of socioeconomic and health-related issues; concerns; problems and needs each and every day. This is not to exclude those families who are battling numerous hardships while members of their families are still overseas.
The Voices4Veterans Program will advocate for veterans, families of veterans and all relevant veteran programs and services through a wide-ranging and sustained public awareness campaign that will first and foremost, bring heightened attention to all these critical matters. Public advocacy, when sucessfully achieved, can be the first "building block" in creating change for these individuals that will hopefully improve the quality of their lives. Positive residuals can resonate through greater public pressure on governmental institutions, public officials and relevant agencies.
These goals and objectives will be reached and facilitated through partnerships and/or linkages with other veteran organizations/programs; veterans; families of veterans; public officials; various media markets (PSA's) and all other individuals or organizations who may wish to participate.
Over the last several years, the number of veterans returning home wounded and/or suffering from PTSD and other mental health problems because of combat duties has been staggering and continues to rise at alarming rates. Current programs and services established to assist both veterans and families of veterans are being overwhelmed, and are literally "breaking at the seams". These established systems were not designed to handle such mass numbers.
In addition to expanding and enriching the "landscape" of public advocacy through an intensive and sustained public awareness campaign, the VOICES4VETERANS Program will develop, coordinate and operate its third critically important "lifeline"--------to raise money for veterans, families of veterans and those programs and services that address and alleviate their concerns, problems and needs.
With its development and oversight of the Voices4Veterans Program, From the Warfront to the Homefront Foundation Inc . will be successful in accomplishing three main objectives:
First, increasing public advocacy to monumental levels through its public awareness campaign.
Secondly, generated funds will be made available to all currently established and legitimate veteran organizations/agencies in order for them to expand and/or add services, hire additional staff and finally, increasing the number of individuals they can assist.
Third, to provide sustained relief to those veterans and families of veterans who are experiencing financial hardships for a variety of reasons.
The foundation's fund-raising campaign will be a full-scale operation that will collaborate with charitable foundations/organizations, the business community at large, planned events and finally----------- the public at large.

Healing Hearts and Lifting Spirits:
When soldiers are killed or wounded during combat, another casuality of war is cast upon us. This casualty is the devastating and unimaginable feeling of loss and grief that embodies spouses; children; parents and other family members, along with friends and neighbors, and will confront all of them for the rest of their lives. Their are no words of condolence or acts of reaching out that can ever take away the endless, senseless pain and suffering that these families will endure.
Through "Healing Hearts and Lifting Spirits", our foundation will work in partnership with healthcare professionals who are specifically trained to facilitate and expedite the healing process through grief counseling and other methods of therapy. This joint collaboration will strive toward making a family's environment more tolerable as they go through these very tough and painful times.
One of the "centerpieces" of this program and a vitally important component will be in providing a linkage between veterans, their families, and the families of veterans killed in combat with group interaction environments that externally go beyond the "walls" of the more standard group-counseling formats. Here, families get to interact with other families to not only share stories and tears, but to socially interact as well.
Artistic Angels of Hope:
The nature of artistic expressions are conveyed through a wide-range of talented applications such as dance, music, poetry or paintings. For many individuals throughout everyday life, these types of expression have become "agents" of comfort and healing for the pain and suffering that has been cast upon them and/or members of their family. Whether physical or emotional, the benefits of such expressions have been well documented and reported.
Of course, so much of this pain and suffering has been exhibited in our society these past few years as the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars rage on, and young soldiers suffer devastating injuries and death every day. Families bear such a heavy burden, whether they have to bury a loved one, or are faced with the possibility of being caretakers for the rest of their lives.
Through"Artistic Angels of Hope" our foundation will reach out and seek partnerships with individuals, groups or organizations whose background, expertise and experience are applicable to the goals and objectives created by this program, as well as the foundation itself. All forms of artistic expression are welcomed and encouraged to participate. We are seeking the involvement of those who teach various forms of artistry through demonstrations and/or instructional classes.
Our primary purpose and long-term goals are to provide two vitally important objectives. First, to give grieving families accessibility to additional environments that are specifically structured to provide further comfort and hopefully----healing. Secondly, to put in motion a wide-ranging outreach network of programs and professionals that can hopefully provide some level of comfort and healing for veterans and families of veterans who are battling emotional and mental health problems.
If any interested parties, whether individually, as an organization or group wants to explore the possibility of establishing a viable and contributing working partnership with our foundation, please leave your information in the CONTACT section of the website.
